A disapointing result for the Boot & Shoe who gave everything in this
Cup tie. Having come back from one nil down and then two one down the
Boot forced extra time scoring late in normal time to make the score
level at two apeice. In a game that the Boot had the vast majority of
possession they were unable to capitalise on a host of chances and were on
three occasions punished when the Flying Lady Lady caught them on the
break. Goalscorers for the Boot were Mark Charlesworth (Charlie) and
Chris Hartnett (Irish). A tremendous effort from both teams as the
conditions both weatherwise and under foot were apalling. We have our chance to
gain revenge when we play the Flying Lady in the 'Presidents Cup' on 18
March 07 at Brine Leas.
