Bands @ the boot weekend©

Hi Guys - this is the first year of this mini free music festival to be hosted by the boot and shoe.  The event will be held in a marquee in the beer garden 

NB - The marquee is a no smoking area - you are permitted to smoke outside on the patio

Head-lining this year are this 8/9 piece soul/rhythm band - BLOZONE - Friday 24th August - get yourself here nice and early, they are very popular, the band should start playing  7-9pm. 

Saturday 25th -Buckland - a local acoustic duo (day time i.e. 3-5pm)

Saturday 25th - INUENDO - a talented local young band  who have been compared to Blink182 and Ash! Come and make your own mind up - kicking off with their pop punk rock gig at approx. 7-9pm

Sunday 26th - Tracey Stewart-Fry band - I melted when I heard this lady sing 'Cry me a River' - come and chill out in the afternoon to this smooth jazz band who are sure to mellow the mood!  Playing approx 2-4pm

Sunday 26th - Were you a teenager in the 80's ? - then you'll love these - Electro80's  - playing  Kraftwerk, Human League and Depeche mode to name but a few.   Remember "fade to grey" and "just can't get enough" - this live entertainment/laser show will be sure to send you back down memory lane.  Playing from 7pm.

Monday 27th - RISE - Young & fresh yet cool & very experienced, Rise are a gifted all-male acoustic duo based in London, performing 60s classics to 90s Indie using various acoustic instruments & vocal harmonies.  Playing approx 4 - 6pm.
 

Please note:- food is available (limited menu) on Friday & Saturday until 4pm.  Sunday - Sunday lunches and kids meals only until 4pm.  There will be a burger van on site that will be serving chips burgers over the whole weekend etc.
