Panama Hatties - a great place to go for a celebration with a group.  A great fun atmosphere with very tasty food, try the chilli beef tostadas for starters - sure to stay a lifetime on your hips!  They do great cocktails and have an impressive array of bottled beers/lagers.  Again I would say this place is more about the fun than the food.  They have now opened a branch in Manchester too!  Well worth a visit.

The Nags Head - A very friendly and well run restaurant/pub.  Their home made chips are a must and I personally love their steaks.   I know they get very busy at weekends, however we normally go a little later on, on a week night when it is quiet  - service and food is always spot on.  Very nice, firm favourite.
